CSC 240: Final Quiz Grading Rubric
Part 1: (25pts)
(a) 15 - correct viewpoint, labels, axis, frustum; correct similar triangles math and result
13 - small math error or correct work but wrong conclusion
10 - correct analysis of y-coordinate of P but no analysis of x, or some mix up of x and y
4 - some diagram and start of a correct solution
(b) 10 - correct coordinates and drawing for both cases
6 - only perspective correct or significant progress on both cases
4 - only orthographic correct or some progress on both cases
Part 2: (20pts)
(a) 10 - color correct for all points
8 - minor error (some points incorrect or colors “flipped”)
5 - major error (several points incorrect or inconsistent)
(b) 10 - all points labeled correctly and “perpendicular point” (P4) shown clearly
8 - minor error (one point mislabeled or some points shifted
5 - major error (labels of points “flipped” or inconsistent)
Part 3: (20pts)
(a) 5 - tree completely correct and labeled with push/pop
3 - minor conceptual error in tree structure
1 - progress toward a correct solution
(b) 5 - all objects have correct transformations and order
3 - minor conceptual error (either more or less transformations)
1 - progress toward a correct solution
(c) 5 - all objects with correct shape, location, and orientation
3 - minor error in either location, shape, or orientation

Part 5: (25pts)

3 - minor conceptual error in how to get the camera location, but close
1 - some progress toward a correct solution
(b) 10 - correct t and P (with work), or correct based on an incorrect camera position
8 - minor conceptual error in work, but right idea of how to get t and P
5 - either P or t correct
